Hood Canal Bridge

Hood Canal Bridge joins Port Gamble, Poulsbo and North Kitsap Peninsula with Jefferson County and the Olympic Peninsula, including Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles, as well as ferry access to Victoria, British Columbia. More than a mile long, Hood Canal Bridge is the 3rd-longest floating bridge in the world, and the only one on saltwater. A drawbridge, it is occasionally closed to vehicle traffic to allow passage for vessels, including submarines traveling to and from Bangor Submarine Base.
